The 3rd Annual Building by Boiling Fundraiser

Satsuma Real Estate is proud to host its annual fundraiser “Building by Boiling”. This seafood boil cook-off will benefit PEOPLE’S HOUSING+, a New Orleans-based non-profit that provides pathways to homeownership for low-and-moderate income New Orleanians.

13 teams will be competing for two different titles: Judges’ Favorite and Belle of the Boil (fan favorite).

Each ticket will include all the seafood you can eat. Kids 10 and under are FREE. The event takes place from 11am-4pm, with the first boil coming out at 11:00am. In addition to the seafood competition, there will be live music by The Original Pinettes Brass Band and Flow Tribe, silent and live auctions, and a prize draw.

Henderson will also provide tips on how to ensure that their homes are adequately insured, including how to accurately assess their home's value and how to identify potential risks. Participants will leave the workshop with a better understanding of the home insurance process and how to protect their homes in the event of a disaster.
